There are many mountain bicycle trails in Mauritius. You just need to know where they are! We can take you on the most beautiful trails of the island. For beginners, we have flat cultural trails and for the more reckless we offer the most challenging trails.

National Park of Arm Water
Half day: 9 am to 12.30 pm
Level: beginner to confirmed
Distance: 15 to 30 km
Appointment: at the public beach of Poste Lafayette at 9 am (next to the SMF monument)

After addressing the technical and safety measures, you will go on the coastal road for 2 km, on paved roads, to get used to the bikes. Then, the trail begins past the Bras d’eau beach by sandy tracks in the lodgepole pine, eucalyptus and tecoma forest. After 20 minutes, you will stop at the information center to learn more about the National Park and the history of the place. The trail then enters the pine grove where you can see the famous fruit trees and the breadfruit. you will then take the old railway which leads us to the heart of the typical village of Roches Noires. Here explore the lava tubes with torches. The circuit then zigzags along Roches Noires to get closer to the life of the village and its inhabitants. On the way back, you will come across wetlands and an old lime kiln before heading back to the coastal road or, for the more experienced, to continue on some trails through other villages and coastal paths.

The Cliffs of the South Coast

It is a great bicycle path along the wild cliffs of the south. The journey begins on sandy trails, passing by beautiful desert beaches. You will often see goats and cows grazing. The trail then passes through the village of Le Bouchon on the coast before heading towards Pont Naturel.
